Job Description :
In this position, you will report to the Manager – S/W Engineering and will work in the Orlando, FL facility on the CODE (DARPA’S Collaborative Operations in Denied Environment) program. The military’s investments in unmanned aircraft systems have proven invaluable for missions ranging from intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance to tactical strike. Most of these systems demand continuous control by a dedicated pilot and sensor operator. Your challenge? To overcome these limitations with new algorithms and software (written in C++ 11) for existing unmanned aircraft that would extend mission capabilities in denied or contested airspace. In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel to DARPA sites in Arlington, VA or China Lake, CA for flight tests! In this position, you will create and brief internal program reviews (such as Test Readiness Reviews and Flight Readiness Reviews). Don’t miss this growth opportunity!
